Howard Bulldog (circa 1954)

Using the J.A.P 2A Engine Untill 1955 when the Name was Changed to \"The Bullfinch for Legal Reasons,in 1957 \"The Demon\" was added (Basically the same machine but using the Larger B.S.A 120cc Engine.

Howard 200 (circa 1961)

Fitted with a Villiers Mk12 engine (A few Early models Had the MK10) Modified in 1965 when Larger Wheels and a Saftey Belt Guard were fitted.

Howard 220 (circa 1972)

The Model had Bantam type Swinging Handlebars this has been change with a later honda engine

Howard 300 (circa 1962-1969)

An 18" Rotavator,.The engine was a Briggs & Stratton 141, rated at 4hp.

In 1965 the engine was changed for a Kohler K91. By about 1969 the 300 was discontinued

Howard 350 (circa1967)

In approximately 1967 the 350 was added, basically the same machine as the 300 but with a larger K141 Kohler Engine (Early 350's had a blue engine, mid 70's were gold and late 70's painted orange, this can be useful to help with datting your machine if it hasnt been repainted)

Howard 352 (circa 1982)

In 1982 Howard replaced the troublesome clutch with an idler pulley system and used again a Briggs & Sratton, but this time a 5hp I/C. The name was changed to Howard 352.later on they change the engine to the mag engine then Kubota bought out mag engines last ones had Kubota engines on name change to dowdeswell 352
